Mr. Bruce R. Morrison Jr., 52, of Millville MA died unexpectedly on Sunday (February 15, 2026) at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket RI after being stricken at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Maria C. (Machado) Morrison.
Bruce was born in Weymouth MA, the son of the late Bruce R. Morrison and the late Diane (Williams) Morrison. He attended Milford public schools, graduating from Milford High School, Class of 1993.
Bruce was first employed as an installer at the Mr. Fence company and then later at the Steelco Fence company. Most recently he had been employed at the Consigli Construction Company in Milford MA and was a member of the Laborer's Union Local #609.
Bruce had been a resident of Millville MA for the past 21 years, and prior to that had resided in Milford MA.
Bruce was an avid fan of all the New England sports teams and was also a “monster truck” fan. But his favorite past time was volunteering as a coach for the XPRESS Football League, where he got to coach his son, Aiden.
Along with his beloved wife of 25 years, he is survived by his son: Aiden Morrison of Millville MA; his 5 siblings: Mark Morrison and his wife Michelle of Virginia, Dawn Smith and her husband Steven of Massachusetts, Michele Herbel and her husband Terry of California, Alex Morrison and his wife Claire of Massachusetts & Cori Andersen and her husband Sean of Massachusetts; also several nieces & nephews.
Bruce is also survived by his father-in-law: Manuel Machado of Framingham MA; his brothers-in-law: Edgar Machado and his wife Christine & their children and David Machado & his children; he was the son-in-law of the late Lucia Machado who died in 1994.
In accordance with his wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA on SATURDAY (February 28th) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
