Sally Haynes Obituary

Sally E. Haynes, 73, formerly of Oxford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Medway Country Manor following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Worcester MA, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Irene Haynes. Sally grew up in Oxford MA and was a graduate of Oxford High School. She later attended classes at Dean College and went on to build a long and dedicated career, spending many years working at Milford Hospital and EMC, as well as serving in various payroll and administrative roles throughout her life.

Sally treasured time with her family and found joy in many simple pleasures, including days at the beach, gardening, caring for animals, playing cards, enjoying chocolate and iced coffee, listening to music, and reading or learning about history. These interests brought her comfort and reflected her gentle nature. She was known for her humor, kindness and being the life of the party.

She is survived by her daughter, Rachael Lane, Rachael’s husband, Dennis Lane, and their children—Tyler, Conner, Jacob, Quinn, and Avery. Sally is also survived by her siblings and spouses: Maryann White and Keith Mosier, Ron and Christine Yablonski, Susan and Y. Gaetan Pelletier, Ken Anderson (husband of her late sister, Joan), Karen Gauthier, and Marc and Patty Haynes.

She was predeceased by her brother-in-law William White and sister Joan Anderson, in addition to her parents. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on SATURDAY (March 21st) at 1:00PM at the First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, 19 Church Road, Shrewsbury MA 01545.
